Family Resource and
Youth Services Centers

Karen Skees
Director, Youth Services Center

Karen serves students at T. K. Stone Middle School and Elizabethtown High School and their parents.

Pam Haire
Director, Family Resource Cente

Pam serves students and families at Helmwood Heights and Morningside Elementaries, and the Panther Preschool.

The Family Resource & Youth Services Centers have been serving the Elizabethtown Independent School System since 1992. The Centers are grant-funded programs begun by the Kentucky Education Reform Act and are committed to helping students reach their full potential. A variety of programs and services are made available to students and their families free of charge through the centers.

Programs include:

Cradle Cubs - Word format (For parents and their children from birth to 36 months)
Cradle Cubs - PDF Format
Grandparent Support Group - Word format (For Grandparents Raising Grandchildren)
Grandparent Support Group - PDF Format
In-School Group and Individual Counseling

Other services, including crisis intervention and financial assistance, are provided by connecting families to existing resources in the community.

The Elizabethtown Family Resource and Youth Services Centers has scheduled their next Advisory Council meeting for March 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon. The meeting will be held at the Panther Academy located at 634 N Mulberry St. in Elizabethtown and is open to the public.
